EL FLOOD

The Epic of Gilgamesh and the Bible, two origins of where we read about a destructive flood, each tell about a story in which most of humanity was killed besides a single family that built an arc.  Both are similar possibly because there actually was an enormous amount of water the engulfed the land in which humanty roamed.  These are two totally different selections of work so the only thing that links them together is the significance of the flood taking place.  Although Gilgamesh was written before the Bible, there is no possible way the writers of the Bible copied the story from the epic because the Bible writters were divinely inspired by God to write.
